Over 500 people attended the King Street Block Party 2011!
Stone Soup announced that rebuilding of 4 King St will start soon thanks to the “Helping Hammers” Carpenters Union Apprenticeship Program signing on (pending signing off on final scope of work).
Fun and community togetherness was experienced by all, including many games and a water battle organized by The Woo, entertainment coordinated by Toxic Soil Busters / Worcester Roots Project, bike repair and pedal-powered smoothies and movies by Ciclovida / Flintstone Car / Earn-A-Bike. filled in with great music from DJ Juami, with the beautiful backdrops by Stone Soup Graphics.
Local talent included the ever-popular Little MJ, Maray – Kfingers & Miss Diva, Street Bangas, Conjunto AƱejo, and rock bands at the second stage: Omerta, Friends of Foes, Snookie Got Decked.
